Girls Who Code 2019-2020 | Week 16 | May 14, 2020

Girls Who Code Clubs are meant for high school girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use Computer Science to change the world. Club members will be able to learn from fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community though interactive activities, and learn about inspiring role models. Members would then work in teams to design and build a Girls Who Code Project that solves real world problems they care about through code!

In our 16th session, we resumed our virtual Girls Who Code club as we provided club members with remote learning activities designed to help girls strengthen their coding skills, have fun, feel hopeful, build connections, and be empowered. The foundation of the Girls Who Code Club is to build the strengths needed to succeed as they learn and grow as coders. Bravery, resilience, creativity and purpose are some of our core concepts.
